AMS is a Registered Student Organization at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, specifically designed for people who have an interest in aviation and desire to learn more! We provide many opportunities to get involved in a variety of exciting ways through field trips, special events, and interactive biweekly meetings. There is no prerequisite to becoming a member, any SIU student is welcome to join!  For a small membership fee, you will be granted access to the world of aviation. Along the way, you'll engage with aviation industry leaders and have the opportunity to ask questions, gain contact information, and could even provide you with your dream job in the future! Our goal is to inform our members about all things aviation and broaden their horizons for many years to come.
